Statoil’s offshore modification contract awarded to Fabricom
Fabricom has been awarded a €25m contract for modification work on the Statfjord and Snorre fields.
The framework contract for offshore modifications includes responsibility for engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation work. There is also a comprehensive portfolio of studies included in the scope of work.
The duration of the contract is one year and its value is estimated at 25 million Euros. The work starts immediately and will engage approximately 100 employees at Fabricom’s offices and workshops in Stavanger.
The contract will also engage personnel onboard the involved offshore installations at a later stage.
