Good HSE result in Fabricom during 2010
Total recordable injuries in 2010 were 2,7 per million workhours.
Fabricom’s HSE result in 2010 is the second best in Fabricom’s history, and this is a 15 % reduction of injuries compared to 2009.
-This result is very satisfactory, particularly due to last year’s extensive projects and work scope, which included several large shut-downs, says Fabricom’s Managing Director, Geir Storaas.
Some of the reasons for this positive result are, amongst others;
- Highly experienced offshore-personnel and managers
- Increased use of Open Safety Conversations
- Large number of HSE improvement proposals
- Active Safety Delegate system
