FABRICOM HAS BEEN AWARDED FAST-TRACK PROJECT ON OSEBERG SØR
Fabricom has been awarded the Engineering Procurement Construction & Installation project (EPCI) for the Topside Modifications on Oseberg Sør for implementation of the Katla project.
Fabricom has responsibility for the EPCI execution of the project, which offshore installation executed together with Statoil under the Integrated Construction and Completion (ICC) model.
The project has an estimated value of NOK 140 million. The scope involves the installation topsides of a new production flowline and water injection flowline, installation of pull-in arrangements for the new risers and umbilical, and the implementation of control and services to the subsea umbilical.
The work commences immediately, will last for 18 months and will employ approximately 80 people.
