Fabricom was established in Norway in 1992. The company’s evolution in Norway reflects a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.

1992 Fabricom acquires Kaldnes de Groot Norge; Fabricom AS is established
1994 Fabricom doubles its capacity in Norway by acquiring GMC Offshore Partner
1996 Fabricom acquires Westcon’s Fabrication and Installations services (Vimek)
2000 Acquisition of Amec Process & Energy Norge further strengthens Fabricom’s position in the offshore maintenance and modification market
2002 Fabricom becomes an EPCIC supplier of maintenance and
modification services after acquiring KBR Production Services Norge from Halliburton
2007 Fabricom strengthens its position in Central Norway through the acquisition of Orkla Engineering / Vigor Industry
2009 Fabricom implements a new business strategy, increasing growth in Norway
